Hello, I'm a researcher focused on understanding people to create thoughtful and effective design solutions.
At IKEA Retail (Ingka Group), I work on the Global Experience Design team, where I help shape stronger relationships between millions of our customers and their homes, no matter where home is, or their budget. My role spans markets and disciplines, from designing future-forward store experiences to exploring how customer expectations adapt by channels, products, and services.
Beyond my project work, I focus on advancing our Design Research practice within the organization. This includes piloting an in-store research lab to support fast, self-led insights by teams, and developing resources like a Guide to Culturally Sensitive Design Research.
Before IKEA, I worked at companies like IDEO and Just Eat Takeaway, and for clients including the City of Utrecht, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, and VodafoneZiggo. My work has been featured by Fast Company, European Design Awards, Dutch Design Week, and Novum Magazine, and I’ve spoken at events like the UX360 Conference in Berlin and at CLEVER°FRANKE's subject matter expert talks in Utrecht.
Outside of IKEA, I’m the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of No One—a print magazine and cultural platform celebrating queer nightlife around the world. Each issue highlights a different city’s LGBTQIA+ community through local voices and stories, with events that bring global scenes into conversation, from Hanoi and Hamburg to Amsterdam and New York City.
This website is home to my select work. Thanks for stopping by.
